EU CBRN CoE P13 – National Seminar Seychelles

On May 19-22 2015, CLIMVIB had the pleasure to participate to the National Seminar Seychelles within the framework of EU CBRN CoE Project 13 “Capacity building and raising awareness for identifying and responding to threats from chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials in Sub Saharan African countries”. Thanks to the lecturers by ENEA – Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic, Expertise France and L. Sacco University Hospital, the participants coming from Seychelles had the opportunity to increase their knowledge and share their experiences in the CBRN field. Representatives from the Ministry of Health, Seychelles Hospital, Aviation Security, Ministry of Environment, Seychelles Police, Coast Guard, Port Authority and Fire and Rescue Service Agency had the opportunity to discover the EU CBRN CoE initiative further, thanks to relevant presentations on the initiative in general, on its structure and objectives.

The national seminar focused on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risk, with attention to emergency CBRN situations.
