Project 46 DET Training Course Part I “Facility design, construction, operation and management” – Thank You!

As previously announced on our website, from February 6th to 10th 2017, DET Training Course Part I of Project 46 Component 2 “Facility design, construction, operation and management” was held in Manila, Philippines.

The Training Course is part of Component 2 – Work Package 3 “Coordination, analysis, and training course development on biosafety, biosecurity and bio-risk management” of the EU CBRN CoE Project 46 “Enhancement of CBRN capacities of South East Asia in addressing CBRN risk mitigation concerning CBRN first response, biosafety and biosecurity, awareness raising and legal framework”.  The event was hosted by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), in Metro Manila, Philippines.

The second part of the training course will be held from 20th to 24th March, 2017, at National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (NIHE), in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

We wish to thank our hosts, trainers, project partners and donors for the continued support and engagement in this initiative. A special thank you goes out to our DET members, coming from eight countries in the SEA Region, whose proactive participation and on-going interest in the event was key to the success of the training course.
