EU CBRN CoE Project 46- WP5 National Training Workshop in Brunei Darussalam

We are really glad to announce that today, Monday 30th April, the National Training Workshop on Biological Waste Management officially started at Radisson Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

This first day was formally opened by Mr. Muhsin Haji Ahmad, the National Focal Point of Brunei Darussalam and HE Mr. Peter Hermann Wolff, Ambassador of Germany to Brunei Darussalam, who delivered a speech on behalf of the European Union.

During the four days of workshop – part of Project 46 Work Package 5 “Risk assessment, transport and management of hazardous biological waste” – different groups of trainees, involved in the biological waste management process at different levels, will have the chance to deepen their knowledge on the topic.

Our experts, Dr. Philippe Stroot and Prof. Philippe Le Coustumer, will be supported by Ms. Sia Fwu Shii, member of the country Biorisk Expert Team, in involving 30 trainees in different activities, ranging from presentations, to group discussions and practical exercises.

In addition to express our gratitude to the National Focal Point of Brunei and his entire staff for the support to the organization of the event, we would like to thank the participants for joining the workshop and wish them all a very productive training course!
